The History of Witchcraft in England – Unabridged

The History of Witchcraft in England 1558-1718 by Dr. Wallace Notestein is an extraordinary work of historical significance. Documented with over 700 footnotes referencing original English source documents, this massive work is un-paralleled in the study of the phenomenon of witchcraft. The History of Witchcraft in England

The History of Witchcraft in England 1558-1715 by Wallace Notestein is a Piranesi Press Historical Reprint. This is an abridged version of the original 1911 book removing the mundane 732 academic footnotes and forty some pages of appendices so the narrative is clear and easy to read. The unabridged version is also available as ISBN 978-1-956964-52-3 but is twice the page volume and a bit more costly to produce, therefore the difference in price. Unless you are an academic researcher of witchcraft, this version is your best bet and more enjoyable to read. I think Dr. Wallace must have set a world record for the number of footnotes in a book at the time.

The Truth About Chupacabras by Jack Holland

The Dry Hole Pump Company is drilling for oil in the middle of the Rio Grande River without any permits as Prunel Duboise slams back one more Dr. Jim and dreams about an island somewhere out in the Pacific where a band of surfing Aborigines awaits his arrival. But that dream will have to wait as a lifetime of adventure is about to be hatched down on the border at Rosita’s Half Moon Tequila House.

The Truth About Chupacabras by Jack Holland is a satiral tale of border folly that explores the under belly of Laredo, Texas and takes the reader back to the wild days when South Texas chupacabras roamed in packs in downtown Laredo, chupacabra hunters became legendary, wife swapping was rampant, tequila flowed like wine, money flowed like oil, and gold plated belt buckles were sold in six-packs.Not recommended for teetotalers, Arkansas Democrats, or those prone to being easily offended by general debauchery and historical recollection.
